Railway is currently conducting the group D exams at the central level, where the
candidates from the whole India are taking part in. This group D vacancy is being filled
by the Railway for the posts of 63000 and, approx 1crore 90 lacs candidates have
applied for this post.
The exams for this group D post are conducted across the India in the various sessions
at various exam halls. At present the Railway is conducting the group D exams for the
students, who were issued the admit card a 5 October, and the exams are scheduled to
be conducted by the 16 of the October.
Yet there is a quota of the students who have applied for the exams but still are waiting
to appear in the exams. The students are kept on the waiting mode since there is still a
quota of the Candidates from the previously issued admit card, who are yet to take their
exams. Once all those candidates take up their exam then the rest of the student will
also be notified for their exams schedule.
Now lately the Railway has issued a notification for the pending students who are not
scheduled to take their exams by the 26 October. Those students are notified from the
Railway that the admit card, for those students are scheduled to be issued on the 19 of
The exams for these candidates are scheduled to be held after the 29th October and
the candidates are advised to download their admit card from the website of their
regional Railway Board. In the admit card the candidates will be able to see the
complete schedule of the exam including the centre of exams and the timings of exams
